The CCGC board of directors has requested that we send out the following reminder regarding our safety rules:

The firing of fully-automatic or “Slide-Fire” firearms or “bump firing” or use of Binary triggers or FRT (forced reset trigger) are prohibited.  The use of any piece of equipment, trigger, stock or any modification that simulates or attempts to simulate fully automatic fire is strictly prohibited.

On the skeet fields shooters may only load one shell when shooting the high 8 target.  The shotgun must be open and unloaded when the shooter turns to shoot the low 8 target,.  If the shooter is straight and will be taking the 24 and 25 shots at low 8 they may load 2 shells.  If in a squad of more than 2 shooters every shooter must attempt high 8 in turn before the squad turns as a group to take it’s turn attempting the low 8 targets.

Only shot sizes of 7 ½, 8, 8 ½ or 9 shot are allowed for skeet/trap/five stand/sporting clays.

Shotguns are not allowed to be shot in bays 1-5, the covered pistol building, the 25 yard, 50 yard, and rifle ranges.  Bays 6-12 are the only place in the pistol/rifle part of the club shotguns are allowed to be fired.
