  • Message from the Secretary 11/02/21 (11/2/2021)

    Hello members!

Recently you should have received your reminder about the Annual Meeting that will be held this Wednesday, 11/03/21 at 7:00 pm.  We would love to see a large turn-out to hear about our past year’s accomplishments, plans for the future and help us vote for the directors who will help achieve our goals.  Please note:  in the past our active military and active law enforcement agents have had the option of not paying the initiation fee and having a full membership without voting rights.  Your Board of Directors recently amended our bylaws so that these members will be awarded full membership including voting rights.  If you are one of these individuals, you should have received a letter indicating this, and we hope to see you at our Annual Meeting to exercise your voting rights!

Around the club:  we have continued to improve water lines, drainage and removing/replacing foliage.  Attend the Annual Meeting to hear about our other improvements and plans!

Upcoming Events:  this weekend will be the Tropical Trap Shoot from 11/5/21 – 11/7/21, one of our annual registered trap shoots.  Also this weekend will be a Coastal Bend Shooters match starting at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 7.  Communities in Schools annual fundraiser sporting clays shoot is November 13.  Steel Challenge match will be held on Sunday, November 21st.  If you are interested in any of these events you can find more information on our website or by contacting the clubhouse.  New participants are encouraged and there are lots of experienced shooters happy to show you the ropes.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact me at denisenewton@live.com or a member of management at ccgc@gtek.biz or 361-852-1212.  See you at the club!
